As Head of ESG & Communication at Delogue PLM, Anja Padget is committed to making sustainability a strategic focus in the textile industry. With a background in procurement and supply chain management, she has a wealth of experience working with suppliers and a deep-rooted passion for improving working conditions in the industry. Her role at Delogue PLM is all about helping brands and suppliers collaborate to create a sustainable value chain.
Anja shares, “My heart lies with the suppliers in the textile industry’s value chain. I love working alongside them to create positive changes in their working conditions. The impact we make is real.”
Delogue PLM provides a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) platform designed to streamline product development and collaboration for textile brands.
By centralizing product data and enabling seamless communication with suppliers, Delogue PLM supports responsible production practices across the industry.
“Our platform isn’t just a technical solution – it’s a tool to drive sustainable change in the textile industry,” says Anja.
Overcoming Challenges in the Textile Industry
Despite the obvious benefits of a streamlined PLM system, one of Anja’s main tasks is to integrate Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles into Delogue PLM’s value proposition so that customers recognize the sustainability advantages of the platform.
Many companies, Anja explains, view ESG as merely a compliance requirement rather than a strategic opportunity.
Her goal is to shift this mindset and embed sustainability into core business functions, ensuring it adds value to both Delogue PLM and its clients.
Creating a Practical ESG Strategy
With her extensive industry experience, Anja recognized the need for a more structured approach to sustainability in the textile industry. To elevate ESG and sustainability efforts, she completed the Sustainable Business Change Manager (SBCM) certification programme.
“The programme equipped me with the methods and tools needed to create a practical, actionable ESG strategy,” says Anja.
One key outcome of her training was the development of an internal ESG playbook, designed as a roadmap for implementing ESG principles throughout Delogue PLM’s operations.
This strategic approach has already delivered results, enabling Anja to advise clients on integrating CSR strategies into their operations positioning ESG as a central part of Delogue PLM’s offering.
A Future Vision for Responsible Business at Delogue PLM
With a solid strategy and ESG playbook in place, Anja’s ambition is to establish Delogue PLM as a sustainability leader in the textile industry.
“I want Delogue to become a positive force in the textile industry, helping brands and their supply chains work together responsibly,” she says.
Anja emphasizes that CSR and ESG efforts should go beyond compliance to create tangible value. “Developing a strategy, clear to both management and staff is essential.
Defining goals and action plans makes implementation much more effective.”
