As part of the Danish Government’s Action Plan for Corporate Social Responsibility 2012-2015 the Government will be hosting the top summit “Driving Sustainable Growth” 25 September 2014.
The purpose of the summit is to provide a space for Danish front-runner companies to share their experiences on responsible business conduct with other Danish companies.
Output of the top summit will be an idea catalogue, so more companies can be inspired to create sustainable growth through business.
Tania Ellis, The Social Business Company, will be contributing to the top summit with a facilitated ‘Corporate Engagement’ workshop. Here the attending companies will get inspiration and will explore how the right business strategy and internal organization can become a driver of sustainable innovation and growth.
“A key challenge for many companies right now is to find ways of putting their CSR and sustainability efforts into the heart of their business strategy – but also to put these efforts into the heart of their organization, so these efforts become a part of their day-to-day operations, business mindset and culture. So I look very much forward to exploring both barriers, opportunities and recommendations for “do’s” and “don’ts” together with the companies attending the summit,” explains Tania Ellis.
There will be around 60 representatives from some of the Denmark’s largest and most well-respected companies including FLSmidth, Novo Nordisk, Danfoss, LEGO Group, Coloplast, DONG Energy, Chr. Hansen, A.P. Møller Maersk, Novozymes and more.
