Tania Ellis will be participating in an expert panel debate at the conference Social Business Priorities hosted by the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Confederation of Danish Industry. Here, the keynote speaker Muhammad Yunus, Nobel Peace Prize winner and founder of Grameen Bank, will among others share his vision of social business.
The objectives of the conference are to jointly identify top priorities for social business in development cooperation and social policy, and to discuss different ideas for tackling social challenges with new business models.
Tania Ellis had the privilege of interviewing Muhammad Yunus at Roskilde Festival in 2009 for her book The New Pioneers, so it is with great pleasure that she once more will be meeting Yunus, and all the other prominent speakers, who will each contribute with their perspectives on social business.
